Knives Illustrated 2014
Alright! So I know I am a little behind. I just got everyone one the Facebook sweepstakes taken care of as far as the numbers goes. I plan on getting everyone on here taken care of this evening and then announcing the two winners for points tomorrow afternoon. I'm sorry for the wait guys and gales! But at least two of you will have an even better Thanksgiving. :)

Knives Illustrated put my work into their current issue. The Dec. 2014 one that is. A whole page to myself. Yay! Good thing they don't know how terrible I am at making knives. Shhhh. Let's keep it a secret for as long as we can. ;)

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

These are your 2nd place prizes for my annual sweepstakes going on right now.

If you haven't entered yet, then you can go here: 2014 Pearce Knives Sweepstakes

I haven't had a chance to give out numbers yet, but I will get around to it tonight or in the morning. Once I have them given out, I will draw for the winner of this weeks points. I will put up a journal for the sweepstakes announcing it when I have the current participants numbers given to them. :D

Horseshoe Knives FTW!

2014 Pearce Knives Sweepstakes
The Pearce annual sweepstakes officially begins now!

Here is how to play:

1) Comment 'Rule #9' on this picture.

Boom. You're done. The sweepstakes runs for a month. 11/12/14-12/12/14.

* You can enter, no matter what country you are in. I ship world wide.

I will give you a number after you have done those two thing. This number is will be put into a random generator to pick the winners.

You personally don't need to keep up with the number, as I will notify the winners after the numbers are drawn.

There are 5 main prizes. This Rasp Bowie pictured here is the 1st prize. 2nd-5th place prizes will be posted throughout the month. In addition to the 5 main prizes, 400 Points a week will be given out. The drawing for the Points  will be held every Wednesday.

You only have to enter one time to be put in for all prizes. I hope you guys like the line up that I picked this year! If you have any questions, let me know.

1st Place: Rasp Bowie.
2nd Place:
3rd Place:
4th Place:
5th Place:

Weekly Points La  for the entire month. Yeah. That's real. La jumping in Points

Also, I will be without internet for the next few days, so I won't be able to give out number immediately. But if you don't get a number after 3-5 days send me a message. Just like last year, I am having a facebook give away as well. You can play here: www.facebook.com/2307277269875…

I will put a journal up in a few days, when I get a chance that will outline both give aways as well as have each updated with the prizes and winners as the sweepstakes progress. I hope you all enjoy it!

Do you ever use leather strips in any of your works? I couldn't find any in your gallery.

Dang xD I like your works so much I tend to look at them as reference on how to make "Realistic" fantasy blades. I'd love to see some if you ever have a chance to share a picture of one~ I really appreciate your works, not too many people who do this type of thing anymore, that and it takes quite a few proper tools to do them well.

I know I'm self plugging but I'd love to ask what you think of this Amura's 2 daggers (Beta designs)
Mostly in terms of how "possible" they are. Aside from the blue tinge do you think blades like these would be possible to make with older smithing methods?
