Why is it so hot?! ;_;
First~ If you are planning on ordering a knife from me for Father's Day then you should do it as soon as possible. I would seriously advise you to not order from me the week before Father's Day.
You won't get your knife in time.
I'm still working on Father's Day Knives for some of my friends and I plan on having all of them out asap. So, if you were planning on ordering something from me at the very least send me a message and let me know you are thinking/wanting to order one. That way I will have it in stock or at least close to being finished when you do order.
This way we are all happy and I'm not the Grinch that ruined daddy's day.
Railroad Spike Tomahawk
So! The wait is over.
I had intended to have 25 in stock for when I made them available to the public. As it turns out. 15 of them are already taken. So that leaves me with 9 in stock...I mean 10.
Sorry, I'm not a rocket surgeon, so I'm not super great with numbers.
So the first 10 people that order them will get their order sent out within 24 hours of buying them. That in itself is a treat if you are ordering from me. >.< And for that I am sorry. I've been working on my shadow clone jutsu, but I haven't been able to pull it off yet. In all seriousness though, I'm trying to keep my waiting list as short as possible. I don't enjoy making people wait or pissing people off. Which I know I do, but my waiting list is continuing to grow. I love that and also which I could make knives faster.
If it gets too bad, I may close down sales for a little while to fill all my orders and get everything stocked up, before reopening. It's an idea I've been rolling around in my head for a few months now. If I do, you guys will be the first to know.
Back on topic. Railroad Spike Tomahawks!!!
Right?! Yuuup!
With their *new* arrival to my website. I'll be updating it all.
Annnnd to top it off. I'll be putting a Railroad Spike Set button on both the Railroad Spike Knife page and Railroad Spike Tomahawk page.
What is this mysterious Railroad Spike Set button, I speak of? Well! If you wanted a
>.>
<.<
>.>
I digress. I will be putting it on there for those that do want the set though. Because I think the pair are awesome. I think that's half the reason my tomahawks have sold so well. Most of the people that have pre-ordered them already had one of my spike knives.
Enough about all that.
On to the funneriest stuff!
High Quality Knives
I'm torn. I've already started on my knives for next years Arkansas knife show, as well as Atlanta, and another knife show I plan on attending. However, I'm not going to sell the knives until the week of the show. So I'm really not sure if I should have them photographed now or not. Would that be weird, seeing the knife pop up nearly a year later for sale?
I mean these are probably going to be my best knives. I want to keep them to take them to the show...because I like winning. It's my only addiction, besides Dr. Pepper and Sour Patch Kids. I could just make them and hide them for a year, then get them photographed right before the show...
Demo
My Rose demo will be in about 4 weeks. I've started making the knife that I'll be unveiling, so to speak, right after my demo. Mainly, to show that my roses aren't just to make a single metal rose or for girly-fied letter openers.
Depending on how well it's liked (to my face) will be one of the deciding factors on my W.I.P. Like I've said in the past, I don't want to waste my time doing a work in progress if it isn't something people want to see.
If I do the W.I.P I will most likely start up my youtube account and post videos of the knife as I do each step. It won't be a tutorial, but it will be rather informative, since I like to talk....as it would seem.
Back on topic. Since I'm doing the demo, I decided to give an example of my work. Mainly my Remnants, since it will follow along the same concept as my Rose knives.
Combining awesome stuff with knives.
At the moment I plan on taking my Drill Bit, Horseshoe, Tiretool, Railroad Spike Tomahawk (if I have any), and lastly a Rebar knife. Most of the people that I'll be doing the demo for are ABS Master Bladesmiths or Journey Smiths, and even though they know me, most haven't seen my Remnant Knives. Some of them wanted to make some knives out of Rebar that was heat treatable, so I am taking a few pieces for them and since I'm doing that I thought I would take what I like to call my 'Rebar Fun' kit. Details below!
Rebar fun!
Pew pew. So my Rebar fun kit is my bag of Rebar knives that I usually show dealer/rebar related companies/supa cool shops that want to start carrying my Rebar Knives in their store or whatever.
I only break it out when I am approached in person or meetings are set up, because for one I'm weird and two I don't like to have a lot of different styled knives of the same kind of Remnant on my website. Meaning, I don't carry a drop point, dagger, upswept tip, and wharncliffe railroad spike knife. I stick with an upswept tip as my signature railroad spike knife.
It isn't the only kind that I can and do make for dealers/companies, but it is the main one that I make and the only one I make for the public, unless there is a special request. The upswept tips are one of my favorite style of knives. To me it gives them a more visual impact.
With that information you can see where I'm going with this. I've different styles for each knife that I have in my personal collection. Since I'm working with some of the other, better bladesmiths, that want to make a few rebar knives, I want to show them what they could do with them.
So! I might unroll my various styles of Rebar knives that don't look like my signature Rebar Knife. I could make it Rebar week!!! Where every 24 hours I bust out with a different one. Well I actually only have like 5 different styles and then another something fun...
But one of the Rebar styles looks better than what I currently sell. >.< So then people would want to get them instead of the Rebar knife that I have available on my website. That's the only draw back I see to my Rebar Week.
Oh and the fact that you guys would have to suffer with me posting a Rebar knife every 24 hours for a week.

Dream knife~ Ooooh yesh. Brittani thinks I'm absolutely, crazy. To be honest, I feel like I will lose some respect over it with my knife making friends in real life. But to that I say this;
I am insanity.
So what do I really care? Plus, I'm easy on the eyes and that always helps. But my dream knife is somewhat inspired by something here on dA. Which is weird, because I never really took any interest in it. Because, how in the fudge would you make a knife that looked like that and why would you?! You wouldn't! But now I am. For some reason, it subconsciously began to manifest in my mind and upon waking up I probably took the dream the wrong way. It probably meant that I should just dabble with it and see what it looked like. Not go and try to make a knife out of it. >.< Nonetheless! Now that it is in my head, I can't let it go. I have to make it, if not just because it would be funny to me. So, once I have the materials I will update the progress of the knife. I can't give it a name...because it can't really be described.
Supa Awesomesauce Knife~ Which was my birthday project. Is still underway. I've been slowly gathering up the materials needed to attempt the knife/thingy. It's more of a weekend project though. I can say that it will blow anything I've made up to this point out of the water though.
I'll be putting up an updated/better quality picture of my Tiretool knife once I get one finished this week, since I didn't get one done during my Remnant week. I'll also be finishing one of my secret Remnant Knives, within the month so I'll be putting that one up soon too. Which is probably the most epic Remnant Knife that I have.
I think that is about it. Chopstick pictures will be updated this week, possibly a picture of the Railroad Spike Set together.
Oh! And Mockingjay was suppose to be finished by Thursday. Well that didn't happen. I was so focused on orders that I didn't get around to it. The Tracker knife took it's place. I do plan on having it finished in the next week though. Hopefully, Avatar will be finished around then as well.
Now, I'm done.
If you have any questions, feel free to comment/message/e-mail/snailmailanthrax me.
