A simple restoration of 1945, M.S.L. AF0100. Well that's what it says on the blade anyway. A museum asked me to do a few restoration projects, but sadly I'm not allowed to take pictures of them. ;_; But they have been what have influenced my sword making.

This one is just a restoration for a friend of sorts. He wanted a simple handle and for me to clean the blade up a little bit. So I made sure to leave as much of the coloring from the decades of rust, while stopping it and sealing everything the best I could.

Ironwood is the handle.

Anyway, next week I'll be back on track with some new and more custom stuff. I'll also be writing a journal soon with details of the current projects and all of that cool stuff. ^.^

Dude I almost have that exact same one made in Sheffield England. Made in 194(Something faded). A(F?)(rest is faded.)

It come with a green canvas sheath?

Aren't old army machetes great? The history, the solid construction, the small chance of it being used for something other then its intended use...
