It looks all sophisti-mu-cated and stuffs. It's true.
Like I said before, it is a bit smaller than I had originally thought it would be and I am ordering another, larger, one. It looks okay-ish on the wrench knives. I mean this is the smallest one I make, so on the larger ones it doesn't look as balanced as I would like. It looks really good on some knives, I figure I'll be using this on my Winged Series and my knives that have a lot of carving and stuff since a lot of my canvas is taken up by the carving and I don't have a lot of room to put my signature on it. So in those cases this stamp will work really well.
Once my large stamp comes in, I'll give an update on the look of my knives.
Also, there will be no more knives of mine with the PEARCE in all caps. It will be scripted Pearce from now on. The next three custom knives will be the last ones with PEARCE in that form, because I've had them stamped from before I got my new stamp.
No more crappy stamped knives, where my E looks like an F! Yaaaaay.
Nice looking blade! I see you often use tool steel to make blades: would you be willing to share some insights for the forging and tempering process? I find working with this material difficult, as I cannot seem to get a decent edge.
This is a very, very good idea. And nicely pulled through as well. It has got a very nice curve to the blade, and I really like the size-stamp showing that it still is a very working tool.
