It's true. You don't see many bowies coming out of my shop. Which is actually something that will be changing in the future. Once I'm caught up on my current orders, I will be putting some time into some traditional knives, since it's all the rave in my part of the world. That and people like big knives.
I've been pushing myself to do some hidden tang knives, since I hate doing them. I would loooove to have a line of Ceros knives as my signature hunting knife and some type of cool unique bowie. Which I'm trying to work out.
All of that is for next year though. Still! swords, bowies, hunters, and all that cool stuff will be my canvas in the future, for your viewing pleasure, of course!
Nice job as usual, nice execution with the rasp texture on the flats, Al Pendray used to do a lot of 'rasp' knives, haven't seen much of them in recent years. Great job!
BTW I'm moving to Louisiana in the next month or two once I get settled I might just have to 'wander' up your way if you're open to an 'old guy' looking over your shop.
