OAL: 8 1/4"
Blade Length: 3 1/2"
Blade Material: 1080
Handle Material: O.D. Green Paracord

Quite possibly my most favorite tactical knife that I make. It's actually the second, but no one has seen my current favorite yet. It is my every day carry knife though as it's the most light weight knife that I make.

The next ones will have a bigger Pearce stamp on it where you can see it better. I had posted pictures of this model with different paracord colors and held a poll on it to see which one people liked the most. Since O.D. green won, this is what she will look like on my website, once I caught up on all my orders and have a few in stock.

I will be taking pictures of it with it's sheath on.

I'll be posting a few more of my tactical knives this week. Just to mix things up a little bit. :D

This one was sold, but I use the original model that I made almost every day. It's my shop knife. :D

Wow. My Dad would go nuts for a knife like that -- he thinks the entire world should be wrapped in 550 cord. Does the cord offer good grip? How often would you need to tighten up the weave? Does it stay tight? I like this design, but have you considered modifying it a little and giving it a hawk design with a slight inward curve at the tip? That would certainly increase its utility, besides giving it a wicked charisma.

My father is a retired Special Forces Green Beret with a boundless enthusiasm for blades of all sorts. If there is any way I could order this knife for him for Christmas, you would make an old soldier very, very happy. If there are any last minute cancellations, or some other fortuitous occurrence, please contact me through DeviantArt and let me buy it from you.

Thanks!

You know, I wasn't a fan of paracord before I started making tactical knives. Now I really like the stuff. In the beginning I was only going to have one color, which was this one, for this knife alone. Now I have about every color of paracord there is, even pink. lol.

Honestly, I only kept the original model of this knife. Since it wasn't as clean as this one was. Which shouldn't matter, but to me it does. With the original one, I use it in my shop, mainly in my handle room. So I took the paracord off since it comes in contact with epoxy 75% of the time.

Sorry for taking so long to reply! I haven't had a whole lot of free time the last few months. lol

It is the best job in the world! You know how they say you never work a day in your life if you love your job? Well I understand that completely. It has good and bad days, but it never feels like work. I love it.

Nnnnnn. Can't critique. Bias against handles wrapped in string. Or rope.

I'd buy one...
But I'd rather wait till I'm older, because the best I have is a Butterfly Knife with a squared off edge so I don't cut myself.
Thing weighs like 4 ounces, a nice weight, and is fun to do tricks with.

Sadly, you can't do a whole lot of tricks with this knife. Balisongs are pretty awesome knives.

Well this would be great for self defence/utility. So long as it has a sheath.

I really do love this design. Simple and clean, and I love that the cutting edge isn't curved outward. Odd as this may be to say, I always keep a hawkbill-type pocket knife with me for the sake of shopping, because that blasted hard shell packaging is a wretch to cut open with scissors or swoopy-bladed knives. I have the feeling that this would have a permanent home in my purse if I could afford one.

Exactly! I really didn't think that I would like it very much when I made the first ones. I had a few other tactical knives that were my favorite, but every time I was doing something around the house, I ended up using this one because of the blade shape. It makes slicing stuff so much easier. I still refuse to call it my favorite! But yeah it is really handy~ to my surprise.

May I ask, what would the price be for one of these with a 3 inch blade? I'm not entirely clear on the knife laws of my state since they're just vague enough to be unhelpful, but I think that 3" is legally okay to carry, and I may have to start saving. :D

It's going to be $50 with a sheath and all of the snazzy stuff on it. It's only a 3 1/2" now, so it wouldn't have to be very much shorter. In most places the blade has to be under 4", which is kind of the reason I made it 3 1/2" so it would be legal in more places. :D

Nifty! :D Will have to begin saving, then. Unless you feel the need for some custom wire jewelery to use as holiday gifts or something, of course, but I have the feeling that actual real-world money is more appealing. :D
