The third place prize for my deviantArt give away. Details here:

I'm also giving away 5 prizes on my Facebook as well. Both sweepstakes end on Nov. 30, 2012. ^.^

I still have the other knives to upload. I didn't upload the 2nd place prize, because it is the only knife besides the two first place prizes that I didn't have already made. Which is why my old stamp is on this knife. :P

I don't usually critique, so bear with me here! I love this design. It's really cool to see a rebar knife with this sheep's foot blade shape. And while it's a sheep's foot, it also looks a bit more claw-like. Rather karambit-esque. I like how you kept the handle simple and only polished up the bumps of the rebar. The false edge also looks fantastic. The workmanship here is great, there is no evidence of the hammer strikes and the grind and finish is superb. The only weirdness I see is in the edge grind as it nears the choil. All in all, this knife looks great and is rather original. I'm sitting here looking at my rebar dagger I made, and it really is nothing compared to this. Keep up the fantastic work!

I really like the knife, but did you forge-weld any other grade of carbon to the blade? I know from experience rebar is really bad at holding an edge.

There are different grades of rebar. There are low carbon, high carbon, and stainless steel rebar. You just don't have good rebar. I get mine from a rebar company, that is why I showed the hamon line on my Rebar Cleaver and Rebar Tantos.

The curve of the handle looks like it's very easy to hold and would feel natural.
